Together we can ensure a new generation have the skills to love these vessels as much as we do.

Why give?

We are passionate about the fleet of over 130 Essex built working vessels and the history connected to their communities. Through this heritage we are dedicated to ensuring the skills and stories are preserved for the next generation of custodians that will follow us.

Through workshops, events, research and even the odd race or two we are here to ensure the fleet and its people are protected and cared for.

Your donation will be used directly for research, skill training and sailing opportunities connected with our unique heritage working fleet.

Get on Board

Every penny that is donated is ploughed back into the work of the Essex Heritage Workboats CIC to ensure the skills required to maintain these historic vessels are protected.
