Races off shore for smacks, bawleys and bumpkins and even a greasy pole over the lock when you get ashore, the Heybridge Basin Regatta has a lot to offer everyone. You can even book a space in the canal and camp overnight after experiencing locking in through the lock gates. Make sure you book early though as it gets filled up with Regatta revellers.
