The Mersea Fishermen’s Open Boats racing season kicks off with the Duke’s Shakedown Race. Hopefully the paint is back on the shelf, the sails are bent on and the crew all prepared.

Its a very exciting year for MFOB as they are trailing a new approach to the handicap system which we at EHWB are very excited about as it should lead to a transparent and fresh sysytem.
